今回は DJ's HALCYON と ZIG-NINE の新DNB DJ UNIT
『MOFONIX』 とニューヨークから DJ TEKTITE 参戦!!!
ご存知の通り、Steve aka HALCYON とは今年の夏からいろんな
イベントで一緒にDJしてきました。
今回は 2時間、みっちり楽しませてもらいます!!!
先着 50名のお客様へ最新の mix CD を配りますよー。
ちなみにこんなものも作ってみました＜笑＞

John aka TEKTITE はサンフランシスコで知り合った仲間…
当時はがんがんに DNB をかけた DJ だったが最近は
Breakbeats や House に転職。
今はニューヨークで Vitamin Breaks というイベントの主催を
勤めていて、日本に来るのが2年ぶりかな？
NYではオレの弟と仲間らしいんで、向こうでの出来事が聞けるのも
楽しみです。

[ INTRODUCING: MOFONIX (HALCYON / ZIG-NINE) ]
2011年夏…W-DOUBLEのレジデントDJを勤める HALCYON (ニュージーランド
クライストチャーチ市出身)と ZIG-NINE (アメリカ サンフランシスコ市出身)が
結成したドラムンベース・ユニット『MOFONIX』。
彼らが繰り広げるノンストップな Heavy Beats and Basslines 選曲は必ず、
フロアーを盛り上げてくれる。
Formed in the summer of 2011, MOFONIX consists of W-DOUBLE resident DJ's
HALCYON (Christchurch, NZ) and ZIG-NINE (San Francisco, USA). Renowned
for their running style using tracks with heavy basslines and relentless beats,
the MOFONIX sound will be sure to hit you fast and hit you hard.

TEKTITEは1990年代にUK Hardcoreを原点にDJ活動を開始。
そこから早送りして現在2011年。彼は今でもオールドスクールな音を守りながら
Electro-house、Baltimore Club系のBooty Bounce、UK Breakbeat sound をセットに
織り込んでいる。
TEKTITEはニューヨーク市BrooklynのBreakbeat and Electro Party『Vitamin B』の
創立者の一人でもあり、レジデントDJを勤めている。
Tektite got his start in the 90’s with Old School (UK) Hardcore, which quickly
became an addiction to the hoover synths, old school stabs, and choppy
breaks. Fast forward to 2011, and he is still searching for records that carry
that old school sound while rounding out his repertoire with the massive
warbled bass of electro-house, booty bounce of Baltimore Club, and full-
volume funk of the UK breakbeat sound. Tektite is also co-founder and
resident of the Brooklyn based breakbeat and electro party VitaminB, where
occasionally you can still hear him return to his roots with an early 90’s
breakbeat hardcore or Drum n Bass set.

We, the members of W-DOUBLE would like to thank all of you for making a
small contribution to those affected by the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami
and the Christchurch, NZ earthquake.
Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to raise 84,779 yen from the past two events. This sum has been donated to both the "NFK Tohoku Eartquake Charity Fund" and the New Zealand Government.
W-DOUBLE plans to continue doing our part to help the relief efforts in both countries.
We will have a donation box available at the event, and would appreciate any small contribution that you can make.
